Ethan's Baptism- Oct. 2012

We had the opportunity to attend our nephew's baptism in Oregon.  Ethan was baptized by his father, Mark.  Elizabeth (my sister) chose a song for the kids to sing that we sang at her baptism and we spent a couple of months working on it with the kids.  They sang with their cousins and did a great job!  Our brother, Joe, and Mark's Mom, Shari, gave amazing talks.  It was a nice baptismal service.  Afterwards, we had a potluck dinner with both families.  It was nice to visit with Mark's family, who is practically family to him (they grew up together.)

After the dinner, we headed over to Glen (Mark's brother and one of Grant's best friends) and Summer's house.  They were sweet enough to allow us to stay with them.  We visited a bit that night and then some more the next morning.  There kids were being so sweet!!  We also ate a really yummy breakfast that Glen and Summer cooked for us, including apple cider they had pressed themselves just two days before... so good!  :)   We wish we could've stayed longer.  PS- I'm totally bummed that I didn't get a picture of Summer and I.

Then we drove to Liz and Mark's house to say goodbye to them.  I got some pictures of two curly redheads cousins- Callie and Collin.  They didn't want to pose, however I did get some cute candid shots.  We also took some pictures of Liz and Mark and Grant and I (Liz is so good at remembering to take pictures like that.  It cracks me up that there is a little person in both pictures because that is just our lives right now... and we wouldn't want it any other way.)  Sariah also wanted a picture with the giant tumbleweed that she found.  It was pretty big.  We were so glad that we were able to come to Oregon and support Ethan on this big choice that he made in his life.  It was nice to be able to share the weekend with our family and friends.
