I always loved when they went in together! It was so fun seeing two of my girls out there, working together as a team!
Karina did a really great job! She is a player who is fearless and strong, not afraid of even the girls who were much bigger than her!
Tierra also did great out there! She was truly a leader on the team and was one of the top two scorers on the team.
The Barracudas had a lot of fun together-- Karina, Chloe, Tierra, Audrey, Kate, Ali, (not pictured-- Anna and Cydney). Coach Brody was really sweet with the girls. And he even surprised them with medals (I loved how they even had their team colors!) Tia and Nina loved getting medals!! They had a great spring season of soccer!

Riana and Sariah also played on the same team again. (I didn't take very many pictures this season of them... only from one game... and it happened to be the one against the U-13 team, which were one year older. Notice how much bigger they are than Sariah, in that first picture!! And yet, she is holding her own! Go Sariah!) They have been on this team for a couple of years and sadly, this was the last season for the Crushers! Grant has really enjoyed coaching these girls and working with such an amazing group of parents! There is just such a positive attitude among these parents. And we all enjoy hanging out together cheering on our girls! He also really enjoyed his Co-Coach Scott- they worked well together and got along great! (Grant's original assistant coach from the Crushers also took half of Scott's team, when she left to make her new team. That really bonded Grant and Scott to have that in common and they both ended up better off in the end! We were blessed with a great group in the end!) We were sad to see this team end!! We had a big party at Izzy's Pizza to say goodbye. However, the reason we ended the team was actually kind of exciting... so many of our girls were ready to move on to the next level-- a select team called TC United. 11 of our girls tried out and all 11 made it!! Pretty amazing! Not only that but TC United needed a coach for their U-13 girls team and requested Grant as the coach. Pretty cool!! So Kiana, Bella, Peyton, Riana, Alexis, and Emma will all still be together and still have Grant as their coach. Sariah, Natalia, Anna Grace, Morgyn, and Autumn all made the U-12 girls team. The two teams practice at the same time and the same location, side-by-side, which is kinda fun! We will sure miss Katie, Kat, Hailey, Rachel, Francis, and all the other girls we have had the pleasure of having on the Crushers, and we hope they continue playing soccer! We are excited for a new challenge and to see our girls continue to develop as better soccer players!1) Daddy horsey and all his babies... they don't all quite fit anymore.
2) 2 Crushers and 2 Barracudas... perfectly well behaved... for the moment!
3) My silly kids- I think this is probably a more accurate picture of reality! LOL!!
Meanwhile...
1) "I'm bored, Mommy... bye!"
2) "I'm outta here!!"
3) "Mommy, aren't you coming?"
4) "Come rescue me, Mommy!"
It was a great season of soccer and we had a lot of fun, both playing and watching/cheering each other on!!
