Memorial Day Trip- Part 2

The big adventure of the trip was when we all went to Riverfront Park to see the Big Red Wagon, Spokane Falls, and such.

1) Sariah and the giant wheel, 2) Tito and Jill- we have a picture of them at this park when they were engaged also-- so fun!, 3) The youngest and the oldest grandchildren-- Ali and Callie, 4) Grandpa Gene taking some time with his Mom, Grandma Lois

 5) Aurora, the poser- so cute!!  6) The almost- teenagers, Riana and Paige, caught doing the chicken dance-- LOL!!  Love those girls!  7) Tia, Nina, Connor, Kaiti, and Joshy- just cousins hangin out, 8) Riana and Calyssa on the slide, 9) Aurora posing again, on the stairs  :)

 10 & 11) Paige and Calyssa, 12) Calyssa wanting to go down the slide again and again-- as soon as she got off, she would immediately run around to the stairs again.  However, she was a bit to small to get up on her own, so everyone took turns going with her.  Everyone loved taking her!  13) Riana, Paige, and Callie

14) The field right by the slide is perfect for playing catch with the baseball or football or kicking a soccer ball, 15) Going down the slide with Mommy, 16) Going down the slide with Daddy

17) Right as I was trying (and failing) to set up my nice camera, to take a picture, a couple walked by and offered to take the picture.  As it turned out, he was a professional photographer.  Seriously?!?  What are the chances?  It was so awesome!!  A major blessing, as we turned out with a really great picture!!  :)  18) Shailee and Aaron-- we also have tons of pictures of them at this park from when they were dating- cute!  19) A classic Spokane shot, 20) Calyssa watching the ducks, 21) Some one gave Aurora and Connor some bread and they had fun feeding the ducks.

22-26) Having fun in the fountain!  Karina was a really good sport when Uncle Aaron got her wet!  I was impressed... I think I would've gotten mad... or at least gotten even!  LOL!  Even Calyssa got wet!  Her sisters gave her a new hairdo with water.

27-28) That silly Uncle Aaron!  What are we going to do with him??

29-34) It was fun going on a little walk, all together.  I think everyone enjoyed the time spent together.

35-38) And Spokane Falls was absolutely gorgeous, as always!!  :)

39-43) We finished off our day with a ride on the carousel.  Even Great Grandma Lois came along with me and the kids (Callie, Rori, Nina, Tia, Sariah, Riana, Paige, Kaiti, Connor, and Joshua.)  We all had a great time, even Callie, who rode for the first time ever!  I always love it when my girls get to ride the carousel for the first time, especially when I get to go along.  Some of them screamed and some of them loved every minute.  Callie loved it!

Rori even had the chance to spend some time with her Uncle Chu-- they are quite the buddies!  It is very sweet to see the softer side of Tito come out.

We sure love spending time with Grant's family!  We were so glad we were able to go to Spokane for Memorial Day weekend.  We had a really great time!!
