The Transformation of Princesses... The girls wanted to take "Before" and "After" pictures. Super cute! :)
All of our girls have wanted to go to a Daddy Daughter Dance for a long time. However, we would always see the flyer too late, or we didn't have the money at that time (it gets quite expensive with 6 daughters!) or we were busy that night, etc. Well, some wonderful person planned one at our church... for free!! It was perfect!! :) So, I helped the girls dress all fancy (they picked out their fanciest dress- except Riana, who wanted to match the girl on the flyer by wearing my old poodle skirt) and curled their hair (except Karina, because we ran out of time, but luckily, she loved her "Belle" hairdo.) Then I found their fancy Disneyland crowns, that we were saving for a special occasion, such as this. It was the perfect touch! They loved wearing them!
They were even more surprised when Daddy showed up with a special flower for each one of them! They loved receiving this special gift from their Daddy! (These flowers were extra special too because after about a week, they changed colors- from pink to purple! Cool huh?)
Our Grant and daughters (Riana, Sariah, Tierra, Karina, and Aurora) met friends, Grant and his daughters (Hailey, Aimee, and Brooke), and Jason and his daughters (Renee and Paige) and father-in-law, at the Ram, for dinner. They ordered really, really huge burgers for everyone to share (one per family). The girls thought it was way fun! :) (I personally was surprised at how clean they stayed for ordering this.)
Of course, they ended the night at the dance, dancing the night away with their Daddy, and their friends too! (And eating desserts, which everyone brought.) They had such a wonderful time and felt like princesses!! I hope they have the opportunity to do this every year!! It was so fun! (And it sure doesn't hurt that I get a night to myself, while they are gone- LOL!! Well, this time I had Calyssa with me, but close enough.) I'm glad they finally had the opportunity to go to a Daddy/Daughter Dance, like they've always wanted to. I'm so thankful for whoever planned/carried out this idea! :)

This melts my heart! So sweet!
Lovely princesses! They look great. I bet this is a "top ten" night for the girls. What fun. I hope you enjoyed your quiet house for a few hours. Someday I will have a quiet night, when the boys are all off to priesthood session. Well, I only have to wait about 10 years! haha!
