The second week in November was a little insane for me, as the 1st counselor in Primary! It started with Sunday, which was the Primary Program. Even though I was incredibly nervous (I've never written the program before and just wanted it to go well), everything went so well! I could totally feel Heavenly Father's hand in it. Children always bring such a special spirit to the meeting. And I just couldn't believe how amazing they did! What a miracle! Then I had to say the closing prayer and of course, cried through the whole prayer. (I don't know what they were thinking, asking me! I was way too emotionally involved!) Then Saturday, my friend and I were in charge of the Primary Activity. We decided to make it surrounding the Articles of Faith. We started with some coloring pages and puzzles. Then we split them up into two teams and they went through a sort of obstacle course with 13 stations. They had to find parts of the Articles of Faith in different ways and then put the Article of Faith together. They had to crab walk, 3 legged walk, be a caterpillar, sleep walk, walk dizzy, and with a quarter between their knees. Plus they had to search in jello, spaghetti, colored paper, rice, clothes, shoes, and pop balloons. They had a blast! Then we ended the activity by cleaning the church, which they surprisingly loved! Oh and Rice Krispy treats, of course! :) My crazy week ended with having to prepare Sharing Time for the following day. It was completely stressful but luckily I (and my family) survived! I know that is because Heavenly Father helped a lot! :)
