In the beginning of November, we had a really awesome weekend! My wonderful parents, again agreed to watching our children overnight-- what would we do without them? Our weekend began with "Timeout for Couples" in Tacoma. It was so amazing!! I loved every talk! And I learned so much! Then we left for our weekend getaway that our girls won for us in the Father's Day Contest. The hardest part was choosing who to invite. It was so hard!! The only fair agreement, we finally came to, was that we couldn't invite either of our families. So we were excited when our good friends, Dan and Celeste, went with us. We had two rooms in the Silverdale Hotel, which is actually where we spent our wedding night and our 5th anniversary, so it was really neat. After we arrived, we all walked across the street for a late night sweet at Shari's. Then the next morning, we went to a yummy Teryaki place for brunch. Next we went golfing at a pretty sweet course. Golf carts were included and boy was that fun! The guys ended up golfing all 18 holes but we shortened ours to only 12 (we were freezing and it was getting dark.) So anyway, we ended being the designated drivers! Wahoo! Then we ended our weekend at Red Robin. Yum! All in all, it was a really fun weekend! PS- If you look closely at the 2nd to last picture, we had three deer visit us, while we were golfing-- pretty cool!
