Sick- Day 3

Day 1- I became sick on Monday with a cold-- sneezing, coughing, etc. However, Monday was a good day. I layed in bed with my sick baby, Aurora, wiping her nose... and mine. Meanwhile, Riana brought me some granola, in a bag, and proceeded to feed the rest of her sisters breakfast. Then she turned "Dora" on, which grabbed their attention quite well, since they don't watch much T.V. Every half hour or so, Riana was back to ask me just what I needed. So sweet! For lunch, she brought me two chimichangas (cooked in the microwave) and some baby carrots. Yum! Then she fed all her sisters as well, with the frozen, microwavable, item of their choice. We did a bit of school, in my bed, and then Grant came home and fed us all dinner. Riana really made it a great day for me.

Day 2- Not so great... By day 2, the girls were bored aka messes, fighting, etc. (It is very hard to be patient when you are sick.) Luckily, I was feeling a bit better so I took them to the busy activities of our Tuesday-- piano and a lot of dance. We all sat in the car reading books and watching movies while we waited. For dinner, we went through a drive-through. By bedtime, I was absolutely exhausted though. And my tonsils started hurting.

Day 3- What will today be like? My cold is pretty much gone but my tonsils are hurting. Bad news!! I was hoping to be able to wait at least 3 more months, before they had to come out. I will try and take it easy. I'm hoping for a day more like Day 1, today. We shall see...
