Don't cut it off!!

Have you noticed in recent pictures that Tierra has a new haircut?? Yes, it's true. A few weeks back, I was looking at her hair thinking about how happy I was that her last haircut, she gave herself, had finally grown out to her chin. I'm sure I jinxed her because the next thing I knew, I opened up the locked bathroom to find this.

Then I found her and lets just say that I wasn't very happy. Ahhh!! WHY?? Because she wanted side bangs, like Riana and Sariah. Anyway, I decided to take her to Jack and Jill's, a children's haircutting shop, to get her hair chopped off, like a boy. I was so impressed that they helped me fix it, without even cutting it, and it was free. Then they made me feel even better by saying that they see at least 4 of these cases, a day!!! So I bought some little (too expensive) hair bows and some kid hairspray.

Then Karina decided to get silly putty stuck in her hair. I was about to chop it out, when Grant suggested that I look up how to get it out on the internet. I read that "Pam cooking spray" takes it out. I sprayed on, washed it out, sprayed some more and rubbed it around, then washed it again, and it was totally gone!! How awesome!!

Here is the after photo, Tierra looks super cute again and Karina has all blond hair, and I didn't have to cut any (more) of their hair. How wonderful!! Moral of the story, think hard before you cut it all off. ;)
