We learned many things at the Bug Zoo.
1) Maybe I was a little mixed up about who was a Girly-Girl and who was a Tom-Boy, in my family. I guess they are each a little bit of both.
2) I am braver then I thought (or maybe it was just the competitiveness in me, after all, my little 7 year old could do it!)

3) There are bugs that look exactly like leaves. (That was my favorite bug there! So cute!)
4) The largest stick bug, is the longest bug in the entire world.
5) Millipedes? (or Centipedes?) can be worn as a mustache, a uni-brow, or a bracelet.
6) Trantulas, scorpions, and cockroaches, are much more gross/scary in person!
7) That huge spider in my house last month, was a Hobo Spider!! Ewww!!
8) There are some pretty interesting looking bugs out there!

Angela, you guys are always going on the funnest trips together! (Is funnest a word?) How cool that Grant goes to conferences in such beautiful places and that you guys can go too! When I saw the first couple of pictures of the Parliament building I knew it was Victoria!!! That's where Jeremy and I went on our honeymoon-can't wait to go back :)
You are very brave with that spider!!!
We sure miss you guys! We're so excited about that one thing.
Megan, Thank you! I think Liz and Mark went on their honeymoon there too! That's a neat place to go!
Christine, I didn't hold any spiders, you are probably thinking of the stick bug or the millipede. I actually have a fear of spiders.
Liz, We are too! ;)
