Orlando- Day 2

So, Day 2, Grant finished off his meetings with work about noon and we checked out of the nice hotel. :( (There was no way we could afford that place!!) Then we headed over to Disney World. And can I just say that, that place is Gi-normous!!! We heard it was 47 square miles! I would guess that it is about 10 times bigger than Disneyland! It was a bit overwhelming. Anyway, we checked in to Coronado Springs, which was one of the many Disney World Hotels. We ran into a few issues, like being put into a dirty room, etc. But I won’t bore you with those. Soon we were on our way to the Magic Kingdom. And they don’t call it the Magic Kingdom for nothing folks! :) First, I went on a Magic Carpet Ride with my Prince. Then we went on a (fake) Jungle Cruise and even saw some (fake) baby elephants! Next, we went to an amazing 3-D show called, “Mickey’s Philharmagic.” We also saw some Pirates, rode on Space Mountain (3 times) and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (2 times), helped Buzz Lightyear defeat the evil Zurg, saw some talking Tiki birds, and even saw all the characters in a show and a parade. But my favorite part of the day was when we were driving to dinner, in our rental car, with the top down, and watching the fireworks off in the distance, and then my favorite Disney song, “A Whole New World” came on the radio! It was so magical!! :) Then to top things off, Grant gave me a pedicure, when we got back to the hotel. The only bummer of the day, was the huge blister that I got. Note to self- don’t ever go without socks, when you are walking around all day!
