For breakfast, we brought her the breakfast of her choice—fresh fruit and vanilla yogurt parfaits, donuts, and orange juice. She was so happy and loved the attention from everyone.
For lunch, she chose to bring lunchables to school. That is a special treat because we don’t buy
them very often.
And for dessert, she chose a gumball machine cake off of my
pinterest for me to make. It actually
turned out really cute! I had Grant buy
me some special red frosting in a tube because I was worried about matching the
color. And the gumballs were actually
M&Ms. We bought some red licorice
ropes and we just happened to have one red lollipop in Calyssa’s leftover
Halloween candy, which she gobbled up afterward. Karina was so happy and the next day when she
was eating the last piece, she said, “Mommy, this is your awesomeness!! Best cake ever!!!” Oh my goodness, how cute is that? It made it totally worth all the
effort!! What a cutie!
Karina loved all of her presents and cards. She especially loved the secret compartment in one of the books Chris and Mandy gave her. And she loved her Rainbow Unicorn Dreamlight, which projects special star lights onto the ceiling.
