Testimonies I Want to Remember

Riana- I love that Riana has the desire to get up each month, to share her testimony.  Today, she bore her testimony and, among other things, said she was thankful for the opportunity to fast.

Tierra- Today, in her testimony, Tia said, "...I'm thankful to know that my Mommy and Daddy love me."  I thought that was really special.  It means a lot to me that she knows that.

(Sariah and Karina also will sometimes bear their testimonies, but didn't choose to do that today, which was just fine.)

I had the opportunity to speak at my friend's Grandparents' baptism, to teach all the YW today about being daughters of God, and I shared my testimony in sacrament meeting-- a much quicker version of my reflections of 2011 and seeing the rays of sunshine.  Even though the words didn't come out as smoothly as I would've wanted them to, all three lessons/testimonies went pretty good.

In Grant's testimony, he spoke about the fine men he has the pleasure of serving with in the Bishopric.  He talked about how he has truly grown to love and respect these men (Jason, Danny, Joel, and Ed.)  He spoke of how much he admires the love and service they give to the people of the ward.  He said that associating with them helps him to be a better person.  It was really neat to hear him speak with such admiration for the men in our Bishopric.
