Yesterday was Aurora's 1st day in Primary, which gives us 5 kids in Primary!! Pretty crazy! Anyway, I really wanted to walk her to Primary, in case she needed me to stay with her until she adjusted. I even gave Callie to Grant, so I could devote all attention to Rori. I took her by the hand and walked her into Primary. As soon as we entered the room, she walked up to the front and sat down, like she knew what to do. She never once looked back! It was kind of sad. I think I needed someone to help me adjust to her being in Primary! LOL! The Primary workers said that she did great! (I think there is just two other little boys in her class.) She was so excited to tell me all about her day in Primary and named several (much older) kids that were "in her class now!"
And speaking of kids growing up, during the opening prayer in Sacrament Meeting, Grant leaned over and told the girls to fold their arms. Calyssa totally folded her arms!! It was so adorable! I couldn't even believe it! What a smartie! Halfway through the prayer, she unfolded them and held them out (her sign for "all done,") she then looked around and refolded them for the rest of the prayer. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! Kinda sad! (I love the serious look she gave me in this picture, like a little model- so funny!)
At night, I had the wierdest reaction or something. I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, maybe 4-5 hours. It was a rough night-- I have been having trouble falling asleep and Calyssa also woke up a few times (which is rare.) However, I really wanted to get up and see my Dad speak in the 9 am ward, my brother, Danny, speak in the 11 am ward, and still wanted to go to my ward at 1 pm. (I also had the chance to say goodbye to my sister, Liz, and her family, who left to return home after the holidays.) Anyway, I also had way more protein than my body is used to (eggs for breakfast, bean dip for lunch, and steak for dinner) and not enough water (it takes a lot of water and blood to digest protein.) Plus I have super, super low blood pressure to begin with. So, about an hour after dinner, I started feeling super dizzy and really nauseous. I had such bad vertigo, that I had to lay down, and whenever I turned my head from one side of the pillow to the other, I felt horrible. Plus the room was spinning really bad. It was kind of scary actually. Well, Grant called Caleb for me and they gave me a blessing. Caleb blessed me that I would be back to my normal self quickly. What a comfort that was! I went to sleep and was totally fine this morning. I was so glad!
