Hair and Makeup
One of the funnest parts of being in a play for our girls, is getting their hair and makeup done. I had a lot of help this time- other ladies, especially Kim (who curled tons of hair) had a lot of fun dolling up my girls. (Sariah actually preferred to do it herself, which was fine too.) It's funny because the heavy makeup is probably my least favorite part and I know Grant doesn't enjoy it either. Watching women putting makeup on their husbands is quite a funny site to see! LOL!
Costumes and Dressing Rooms
One down side to having 6 girls, is that in changing rooms or bathrooms all of them have to come with me. It makes it a bit challenging, but also a lot of fun! Between the girls and I, we had 30 costumes and 35 total costume changes. Grant had an additional 7 of his own. Luckily, the older 4 girls did it pretty much on their own. (I was so impressed, especially with Karina, who is only 5!) Aurora was sometimes a bit of a challenge. However, I brought Riana and Sariah's friend, Aimee, to help backstage with Calyssa, which made it easier because then I didn't have to worry whether or not Aurora decided to get herself dressed (since she refused to let me help her.) I also had help from some other ladies (sometimes Aurora let other people help her, but not me.) Our friend, Tasha, who used to work at Disney, drew the awesomest pictures on the board each week, during the show. The girls loved them!! It was especially fun to get a picture of Minnie-Aurora and the picture of Minnie. Aurora happened to put her arm up in the picture, just like Minnie, without being prompted- cute! My girls loved their costumes so much that they wanted to take some of them home.
Buddies!!
Our girls sure don't seem to be lacking in their social skills- they made tons of friends in the show! They made friends with babies, kids, teenagers, and adults. (I think everyone in the entire cast knew Rori!) It was a lot of fun! (Just a few friends pictured here- Caleb, Kapena, Callie, Bekah, Camille and Tasha, Kara and Bekah, Lizzie and Andrew and Cody, Olivia and Ceithlinn and Callie and Cindy, Nichole and baby Gracelyn, Callie, Kim, Amman, Kaitlyn and Savannah)

4 and 7) My Mom/Grandma brought us a special treat! So cute and thoughtful! (My favorite- mint chocolate teddy bears, and flowers)
5) Some of my family who came to watch our show. Some of them even came more than once because they enjoyed it so much, which was so sweet! We were blessed to have lots of family, friends, and ward members come to see our show.
6) After the final show, and breaking down of the set, a bunch of us went to Sonic for some treats!! Yummy!! :)
