The Rest of February

Here are some random pictures from the rest of February:
1) I love overalls and Karina sure looks cute in them.
2) A lady Grant works with, sent little cupcakes home with him, for the girls.  They were so cute!  The girls loved them!  :)
3) Aurora absolutely loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse right now.  She "bought" this Pez out of the prize jar and fell asleep with him.  Adorable!
4) The 3 youngest girls (Karina, Calyssa, and Aurora) snuggling in my bed.
5) A couple weeks after I had the baby, my Mom took the four older girls to see "Peter and the Wolf," as a favor for me, and then off to Dairy Queen.  They loved having a date with Grandma.  :)
6) She even brought a blizzard for Aurora and I to share.  How sweet!  We thought it was so cool how it was imprinted with "Dairy Queen," since I put it in the freezer with the lid on for a bit.

7) Aurora built herself a little house out of gatorades.  She loved "sleeping" in it.  See how her eyes are closed?  So cute!
8) Even though Aurora needed someone to take care of her, she loved taking care of Calyssa.
9) She slept a lot more with her broken leg, since her body needed lots of time to heal.
10) I love the way that Calyssa looks when she is asleep- so sweet!
11) With 6 girls, we have a lot of pretend weddings and such at our house.  Sadly, we have no "princes," so someone has to be nice and be the boy.  This time, it was Riana.
12)  Yummy!  Homemade pizza!  :)  The girls love to "decorate" their own.

13-16) The last pictures of Aurora's cast all signed and ready to come off.
17) Aurora chose a Dora guitar for being brave, while they cut her cast off... and really during the whole ordeal.  (Grant took her and said that in her last x-ray, after they removed the cast, it showed that her break was worse than they originally thought.  The bone was healing all the way up her tibia.  When he told me this, I was so happy that I had taken her back and asked that her leg be casted.  I felt like I did the right thing- proud Mommy moment!)  Also pictured- Karina with our guitar.
18) Karina looking cute!
19) Our fishies in their new tank.  We always add a fish, when we add a baby.  Each child has their own fish.  This time, we added 2- a new goldfish and an algae eater.  The girls named Calyssa's goldfish, "Rudolph," due to the red dot on it's nose.  And the algae eater, "Sucka!" because it likes to suck.  (Sadly, all the fish got very sick.  The girls were so sad!  It was heartbreaking watching them cry!  We think it was just too much for them to handle adding 2 new fish and changing tanks.  For about a week, all they did was lie around on the bottom of the tank.  They were very "stressed."  However, our girls fasted and prayed for them and we gave them about every treatment possible, including a 5 in 1 disease treatment from Walmart.  And they all recovered!  It was amazing!!  Four of these fish, we have had for 4 1/2 years (and they cost us 10 cents!)  And the 5th, we bought 2 1/2 years ago, after Aurora was born.  We were so happy that they all pulled through!  Those girls sure have a lot of faith!  :)

 20) Aurora wanted to wear her Minnie Mouse ears and then fell asleep in the car.  Cute!
21-22) The girls copying a skit they saw at Camp Zarahemla.  Funny!
23) Yeah!  Girl Scout Cookies!!  :)
24-25) Tia and Nina made themselves some yummy breakfast-- cereal with fresh berries in it.  (My favorite cereals are plain Chex and Kix with fresh berries in them!)  :)
26-28) Yummy!  Ice cream with a cherry on top!  Sariah, Riana, and Aurora

Finally, we only get about 3-4 days of snow, per year (and that is about perfect for me!)  So when we do, we have to enjoy it before it all melts.  (When we had 1-2 days back in November, the girls were sick, so they were even more excited to play in this snow.)  The kids had fun- making a 3-D standing snow angel, having a snowball fight over the fence with the neighbor boys, Aurora having a snowball fight with Riana's doll, building a very tiny snowman (last picture), eating snow, and looking cute in their snow gear!  :)
