I wanted to post some pictures a little out of order here. Last October 2009, Cory and Lisa (Karina's Primary Teachers- who she absolutely adores!!) invited the girls to come over while I went to a Doctor's Appt. They spoiled the girls rotten-- fed them all kinds of yummy foods and let them play with their animals. Each of the girls had the chance to pet the horses, sit on the horses, and even ride them for a little bit. They also loved the dogs too. (I did have a pretty bad allergic reaction when I went to pick them up. I normally have itchy, watery, eyes that swell shut and a sneezy/runny nose but this time I was wheezing too. So when I arrived home I took some medicine, a nap, and Grant helped me clean everything up really good.) The girls had so much fun that it made it worth the misery for me.
April 2010- 1) One day, the girls dressed as angels. It was really cute!! 2) Riana asked Grandma to make her matching pajamas, for her American Doll and herself, for her birthday. Grandma let her go to the fabric store and pick out the material and pattern and everything. Riana loved her Grandma date!! :) PS- Grandma has been helping Riana sew the easier parts of the pajamas and learn to sew. It's great!
Grant and Riana had the chance to go to a Seattle Sounders soccer game in May 2010. It was both of their first time at a Sounders game. Grant introduced Riana to garlic fries and she seemed to think they were pretty good also. The Sounders won the game 3-0!!! Pretty awesome for the first game they attended! (Because of the 3 goals, every person in the stadium's ticket was good for a free haircut at Great Clips. Also, because it was a shutout, every ticket was worth 2 free tacos at Jack-in-the-Box.) They had a great time! And Riana even got lucky enough to get an autograph at the end of the game, from Roger Levesque #24.
