Here it goes...

I am posting a few random facts about me for a friend because I love her!! ;)
1. I have broken 3 toes and 2 fingers. That's it! (Toes- a. Someone knocked a desk on my toe. b. Swing dancing with my friend and flipping across her back then landing on my toe. c. A "romantic" walk on the beach with my hubby. Fingers- a. Basketball game in 7th or 8th grade, the day before I had a violin quartet to play in, of course. b. Playing football with my brothers, I think.)
2. A few years back, my friend told me that she (and her husband) didn't buy any PG-13 movies. At first I thought she was crazy. But because of her good example, we do not own any PG-13 (or worse) movies.
3. I did not go to Disneyland until I was 27 years old. Then I went to Disneyworld, for the first time, the next year. And I am going to Disneyland again next month! Lucky me!! :)
4. My friends and I were known as the T.P. Queens, in high school.
5. I've tried out for American Idol.
6. 11 years ago, I had never been hospitalized, except for my own birth. However, in the last 11 years, I was hospitalized for a serious car accident, a ruptured ovarian cyst, the emergency removal of my appendix (while pregnant with my 1st), the removal of a tumor and a parathyroid, a tonsil abscess (I only had to go to the hospital for 1 of 3), the birth of my 5 daughters, and soon to add, the removal of my tonsils. That is almost 11 in 11 years!
7. I can not handle scary movies at all! I have probably only watched 3 in my whole life and I am still scared by the images they left in my head. When I watched the Sixth Sense, I couldn't sleep and I had nightmares for months. I am just really sensitive, I guess.
8. I have never had a professional manicure or a pedicure. (The only pedicure I've had, my husband gave me-- cute huh?) In fact, I could probably count the amount of times I've had my nails painted on my two hands. Now you know why God sent me 5 daughters! LOL! Just kidding!
9. I don't enjoy reading and never have. I have to REALLY love a book to read it. I do read some self help books and I did enjoy the "Work and the Glory" books that I have read so far. I also read my scriptures but not as often as I should. That has always been a goal of mine, to read more.
10. I love writing. One of my favorite classes in college was a writing class. I especially love writing about personal experiences, in a way that creates a picture in your head. In fact, I was one of 8 finalists in a Seattle Times Essay contest in high school, that my Journalism teacher entered me in.

I hope you learned something new about me. :) Enjoy!!

Ok, so you have to get a professional manicure and pedicure sometime. Just to say that you have. I can't believe how many times you have been hospitalized, I didn't realize that it was that many, 11 in 11 yrs...You poor thing!
