I have to say that I am so lucky! I have only shared a bedroom with one person besides my sisters and my husband. We didn't know each other before we were placed together as roomates. However, I sure got lucky aka divine intervention!! :) because Jackie has become one of my best friends in the whole world! She totally rocks! So when she told me that her husband had a conference in Seattle and she was going to come with him, I was extremely excited!! The girls and I drove up and went to the Woodland Park Zoo with Jackie and we met little Brycen for the first time. He is a sweetheart! Anyway, we saw the butterflies, the "ooo, ooo, aaa, aaa"s (Karina's word for monkey), the elephants, the hippos, etc. At one point, we saw a sign "$5 to feed the giraffes." We got in line and Jackie volunteered to stay with Brycen and Aurora but then we decided not to go because it was cash only and I didn't have enough. Jackie then payed for all of us!! See, she totally rocks! It was so amazing!! I would totally do it again!! Our girls loved it! Well worth the $5 a person! We had a great day at the zoo. When Grant got off work, he picked up Dan (Jackie's husband) and met us at the zoo. Then we all drove over to a restaurant right on the water. It was really nice. We had super yummy food and the best company. Then Jackie and Dan payed for the whole thing!! They are such generous friends too! (In the past, Jackie has claimed she has to go to the restroom and then at the end of dinner no check will come. She is so sneaky! But awesome!) We then ended the night with some Coldstone ice cream. It was such a fun day!! We are excited to hang out with them in a few months when they come back! :) We are so lucky to have friends like Jackie and Dan! We sure love them! :)
