Finally all better

My kids had some nasty virus for 2 1/2 weeks! It was a strange one too. They were sick for 4 days, then fine for 3, then sick again for another 5, and then slowly became better over a few days. The virus was a strange one, as it was a combination of the stomach flu and a bad cold. AND to make matters worse, it happened to be one of Grant's busiest weeks at work (planned months in advance.) Riana gets the prize for the most days with a fever (6-8). Sariah gets the prize for the highest fever I have ever seen at 106! (which happened one of the nights Grant was out of town) and having the worst cough, which lingered the longest. Tierra gets the prize for enduring the most pain, because her sickness turned into a double ear infection. Sariah and Tierra both ended up on antibodics (Sariah for possible walking pnemonia and Tierra for her ear infections.) And Karina gets the prize for throwing up the most days- 5 (not consecutive.) And I give myself the prize for staying sane through it all. I have to say, I barely made it! However, I also have never been this thankful for healthy kids, in a long, long time!! :)
