I really wanted to make sugar cookies this year and so did my girls. And we have been having trouble getting the girls to do their chores lately. So we made a goal in Family Home Evening, the first Monday in December, that when everyone had finished all their chores and responsibilities for 5 days, we would make sugar cookies. It took about 2-3 weeks for all of them to finish but we had such a fun time making and decorating the cookies. It is just such a fun process of making the dough, cutting the shapes out, frosting them, and then decorating them. I didn't have time to make all the goodies that I had dreamed of making this Christmas season but at least we were able to make these really fun ones. :)
