We had such a fun Halloween! First, we had a fun party at my Mom and Dad's on Saturday. We decorated Cupcakes and had a Bonfire. We were going to carve Pumpkins, but ran out of time. Next, Monday, we had a Homeschool Party with the families in our ward. I didn't want the girls to get their costumes dirty, so we wore old costumes. Riana wore her Dorothy Dress that my Mom made her last year, complete with shoes and dog, Toto too. Sariah wore her Cinderella Costume from a year or two ago. Tierra refused to wear a costume but instead dressed up in her own "clothes" and I finally convinced her to put on her Minnie Mouse ears (but only because I wore mine) and then she enjoyed being "twin mouses," as she put it. Karina wore the princess costume that all my girls have worn and I captured a few of her first steps! So cute!! At the party, we made little pizzas, ate some treats, and played some games. It was great to get to know these families better. Tuesday morning, we had a party at our Homeschooling Co-op. It included decorating cookies, Halloween story-time, and a few other activities. Tuesday night, Riana dressed as Elina from "Barbie Fairytopia/Mermaidia," complete with Bibble--for her it's all about the accessories! :) Sariah was Genevieve from "Barbie and The Twelve Dancing Princesses" with her cute little kitty. Tierra was a cheerleader and we were able to get a very cute picture of her!! Karina was dressed as an M & M, a costume that all of the girls have worn. One of the great things about having four daughters, you get your moneys worth through "hand me downs." Grant dressed as a bum. Silly guy! We went Trick or Treating (coats included) with our friends, the Sessions. Between our families, we had 7 girls! They made quite an adorable bunch of Trick or Treaters, I must say (not biased at all!) :) Then we ended our Halloween Festivities at our ward Carnival. The girls went fishing, got their faces painted, played a few other games, and Karina slept through the whole thing--which was shocking because she is such a light sleeper. It was a great Halloween!!
