Saying Goodbye to Friends

Our neighbors and good friends, who also happen to be in our ward, from the last 2 years, had to move to Alabama.  They are military.  Cayden and Dylan were like cousins or brothers to Riana and Sariah.  They used to go on all kinds of adventures together, in the pond area and such.  They had names for everything there and code names for each other and a club type thing and everything.  They had lots of inside jokes together and just had so much fun together.  Tierra and Karina loved playing with Katie and they played all the time during the summer, out in the neighborhood or in their backyard.  Aurora and Calyssa also loved playing with Megan.  We had birthday parties together, and just dinners together.  We went camping together and just had fun hanging out as families.  Grant hiked with Lee and I talked with Jenny for hours.  We also were there for Jenny and the kids when Lee was out of town for work.  Jenny and Lee did many thoughtful things for us, like one time when I was having a horrible week and Jenny showed up with 2 loaves of homemade bread at just the right time.  It was such a blessing to have neighbors like this and it was so hard to let them go... we all had a really hard time with it but some more than others.  One child cried for weeks and weeks and weeks and said they hated Alabama for taking their best friend!  Hopefully we will get to see them again soon!  We are blessed to know them!

We went to the park with another military family (Rachel and Preston and Talmadge, Avery, Peyton, Finley, Harper, and later Rowen) that was moving, who is also friends with Lee and Jenny and family.  We are sad to lose them as well.  They always loved our matching dresses, as they wore matching dresses as well.  Rachel could literally whip up (sew) matching skirts for her girls the morning of church.  She is crazy amazing!  They have 1 son and 4 daughters (1 more daughter born after they moved). Tierra and Karina and Avery
