Riana invited her friend, Amanda, over for a sleepover and the next day, Amanda's Mom, Wendy, surprised Riana with an invitation to go horseback riding with Amanda. Riana was beyond excited!! (I am extremely allergic to horses and therefore, Riana hasn't been able to fulfill her dream of going horseback riding except once for a short amount of time.) Riana had SO much fun with Amanda and her horse (riding, brushing, feeding, etc.)!! And then they went the extra mile and washed all of Riana's clothes and had her take a shower before bringing her home. I am so thankful that they were so kind and that they could give her something that I can't.
Friends (Tierra, Hailey, Karina, and Aurora) and hot-tub buddies (Amanda, Sariah, Riana, and Aimee) having a great time!!
Riana, Sariah, Tierra, and Karina had a great time decorating the Gingerbread House (as always). Aurora wasn't interested in putting the candy on the Gingerbread House. There was only one place she was interested in putting the candy. In fact, she was putting it in her mouth faster than we could get it on the house, so I buckled her in her high chair. As you can see, she didn't like that idea one bit!! But once we gave her a piece of candy, she was fine again. LOL!!
Picture 1) Challupies!! I normally serve it on individual plates but decided this might be fun for a change. The girls loved it!! And Aurora especially loved trying to eat all of the olives!

There was a beautiful rainbow (which had faded a little before these two pictures) outside our house one day. And if I positioned myself just right, our house was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, with all my treasures inside. :)
We had the fun opportunity to go to the Great Wolf Lodge for the day, as a family and a friend, Brooke. We had so much fun! Aurora loved splashing in the water. Karina loved the little kid slide and pool area. Tierra enjoyed playing in the kid area and even went on some of the bigger slides (and the super big one that she was tall enough for once or twice.) Riana and Sariah had a blast going on each and every slide in the waterpark at least 10-20 times (with Daddy, Mommy, or Brooke joining them. My first time on the biggest slide, Riana, Sariah, and Grant schemed to send me backwards!! Stinkers!! That was scary but super thrilling!). And we all enjoyed the wave pool. We were lucky enough to go on a weekday and there were no lines! It was great, except for the fact that we had more chances to go up the stairs. We figured that we walked over 3000 stairs!! By the end of the day, we were all exhausted!! However, we all had a really good time!

My adorable friend, Rachel, had a little half-birthday party (halfway to their birthday) for her girls (Renee and Paige)-- complete with half of a cake, cute little sandwiches, and many other cute and creative treats. (Isn't she cute??) The girls had a really fun time!!
Fun Times with our friends-- Caleb, Brooke, Logan, Aimee, and Hailey
1) Aurora found herself a buddy (Caleb)- SO adorable! 2 and 3) Watching a movie- I especially loved how Karina snuggled up with Logan, and 4) A hair-brushing train- so cute!
1) Tierra, who is very particular about her choice of clothing, actually wore what I wanted her to wear for once, which was photo-worthy enough, but she looked pretty stinkin' cute, as well!
2) Riana and Sariah were practicing one of their clogging songs for dance and the younger girls joined in. Aurora loves to run around the house (and has been doing so for a couple months) and say "double tep... double tep..." while practicing her steps. It is adorable!! (Double steps are a step in clogging.)
3) Grant, and brothers, Phil and Aaron (along with brother-in-law, Tito, who isn't pictured) went fishing together and had a fabulous time (even though Aaron caught the only fish).

That is so cool that Riana got to go horseback riding, and what thoughtful friends they are, for washing her clothes and having her take a shower, so you wouldn't be affected! The Wolf Creek Lodge looks like so much fun! That is awesome that you got to go!
1/2 a cake is a great idea! Love the shot of the rainbow over your house that leads to your home which really IS your very own pot of gold!
What fun times! I love seeing the pictures of your family! And the people we left behind. It brings back wonderful memories.
