Daddy's Trip

Grant had to go to Atlanta for 5 days for work. He enjoyed his meetings and even met Mark L. Wahlberg (not the singer, the host of "The Moment of Truth" and a few other shows--1st picture. Second picture is Grant's team with Mark W.) He also took two pictures of the hotel-- one of the view from the inside and one from the view of the outside. After his work conference was over, his brother Jeremy, who lives in North Carolina, drove to Atlanta and picked Grant up. Grant had a really good time with Jeremy and his girlfriend Elizabeth. He also met Elizabeth's two daughters and some other family of hers. (Grant really enjoyed the accents of the kids there.) They did lots of fun things, including Paintballing on a pretty sweet course (Picture #7). Unforunately, Grant didn't take very many pictures of his trip to North Carolina. I was sad!

It is always hard to have Daddy gone so we usually do some special things. Sometimes I will let the girls sleep on my floor or we will order pizza. This time, my sister Elizabeth and her kids were in town at my Mom and Dad's, so we spent the whole week over there. It was a lot of fun and really helped the time pass faster, especially because I am pregnant. My Mom and Dad are so great!

Pictures-- The first two pictures are of the kids pretending to play videogames (the T.V. wasn't even on-- LOL!) Oh, and also we were trying to get them to come have prayer (that is why some of them are folding their arms.) In the next picture, they built a train with chairs. They love to do that! And the last, is Karina and Tierra snuggling with Grandma or to Karina, "Papa."
